observation # 8

location - cash creek
date - 5/30/2008
time - 5:30
weather conditions - cloudy/sunny
wind conditions - medium
soil conditions - moist
temperature - 54 deg

The weather was the same as yesterday. I saw more squirrels than yesterday. But every thing else was the same. One day doesn't make a huge difference. since the first observations the vegetation and the animals have grown enough to tell that is a mature forest. I look back at my first observations and the grass was barely getting life and now the grass is very green. The trees are more mature than the first observation but the leaves are still light green and i know the leaves are going to get darker. The animals community grew allot, at first i didn't see very many but know you can hear and see them all around you. Insects are the ones that grew the most. i did see some birds nest in the trees, that means the bird population is growing. but that is the only difference from yesterday. The only thing my location is going to do from now on is keep growing until winter comes.

Fantastic observation #8, as you summarized the major changes in your community over the past 4 weeks! Be sure to capitalize the "I"s in your sentences, as these are formal writings, not casual e-mails or texts!
